Same clock as Berlin.

Senior engineers one short trip from Germany, under the same EU rules.

German companies outsource software development to Central Europe to get senior engineers without months of recruiting, in the same time zone and under the same EU law. Yarify is a senior team based in Prague, on CET like Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt. Contracts are under EU law, personal data stays in the EU under GDPR, and industry surveys put senior Central European rates at about $60–80 an hour versus $110–160 in Western Europe. We work in English.

Why German teams look east

Senior engineers in Germany are hard to find and slow to hire. By the time a new hire is through notice periods and onboarding, a product can be months behind plan.

A nearshore team in Prague starts in weeks, works your hours, and sits under the same EU legal framework. You get a stand-up at 9:30 with nobody joining from their evening.

Your code. Your cloud. Two weeks' notice.

Teams and augmentation bill monthly and end with 2 weeks' notice. On fixed-scope MVP and rescue work, overruns on our estimate are ours. You own 100% of the code and IP from day one. We are based in Prague; there is no German office.

Questions buyers ask us

Why do German companies outsource software development to the Czech Republic?

Same time zone, EU law and GDPR on both sides, a short trip for meetings, and senior engineers at Central European rather than German onshore cost. Starting with a team is also faster than recruiting seniors in Germany.

Is outsourcing to Prague GDPR compliant for a German company?

Both countries are in the EU, so GDPR applies on both sides and there is no third-country transfer. We sign a data processing agreement and keep personal data in EU regions. Your data protection officer confirms the details.

Do you work in German?

We work in English: calls, code, pull requests and documentation. Most German engineering teams already work in English. If your project needs German-language content or documents, plan for that on your side.

How is a German client invoiced?

You contract with Yarify s.r.o., a Czech company. EU business clients with a VAT ID are generally invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism. Confirm the treatment with your accountant.

How much cheaper is a Prague team than hiring in Germany?

Industry surveys put senior Central European rates at about $60–80 an hour against $110–160 in Western Europe, before German recruiting time and employer costs. We do not publish rates; you get a fixed or monthly quote after a free call.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. We are based in Prague, a short trip from most of Germany, so in-person kick-offs and workshops are practical. Day-to-day work runs remotely in your tools during shared hours.
